TEEBALL DIVISIONAL GOALS

Each program at Folsom has different individual goals.  At every level the Managers & Coaches strive to teach teamwork, fair play and sportsmanship.  The FAA’s Managers and Coaches guide our teams to compete with the expectation of having a successful season.

The most basic division offered by the FAA is Tee Ball.   Tee Ball is a co-ed division with the primary focus being having FUN!   The players are taught the fundamentals of the game, which includes the rules, throwing, catching and swinging the bat.  The key to success at this level is that every child plays the entire game, tries different positions and comes back the next season looking forward to having the same enjoyment.

Every parent has the right to know what their child’s Coach hopes to accomplish during the season.  Once teams are assigned, parents should be sure to attend the first practice with their child in order to ask the Coaches questions that they may have.   More importantly, any way that you can volunteer to assist your child’s team to achieve their goals, is essential to the season.   Do not hesitate to advise your child’s Manager & Coach that you would like to help out in some way.   Your assistance will be greatly appreciated by the entire team!
